Abstract:
The radio flux in the hard state of black hole binaries is strongly
correlated with the X-ray flux. I will discuss the dependence of this
correlation on the X-ray energy and its extension to other spectral
state. The results imply that the jet is formed from the relativistic
electrons producing the X-ray spectrum by Comptonization, and rule out
models in which the observed X-rays are emitted by the jet.
